Maurice Goldstein

Project Director

As Project Director at Trifiletti Consulting, Maurice Goldstein brings deep experience in project management, program design and implementation for complex government initiatives. Part of his portfolio includes economic and workforce development initiatives for the proposed 1.6 mile, billion-dollar Inglewood Transit Connector Project, a fully elevated, automated transit system that will connect passengers from the Metro K Line Downtown Inglewood station to the City of Inglewood’s major entertainment and employment destinations including the Kia Forum, SoFi Stadium at Hollywood Park, and the future Intuit Dome.

Prior to joining our team, Maurice served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the New York City Mayor’s Office of Operations where he managed the project performance of a portfolio of cross-agency initiatives, representing a funding commitment of over $1B, aimed at reducing race, gender and income inequality in NYC, and responding to the COIVD-19 pandemic.

During COVID he served as the Vaccine Command Center’s Branch Chief for Staffing where he ran a $50 million program staffing Health Department-run vaccine sites and outreach programs with 1,200+ contracted workers to meet evolving vaccine-demand. He project-managed a multimillion-dollar effort to build 32 brick-and-mortar COVID diagnostic testing sites in two months adding 12K tests/day capacity by coordinating with the City’s construction agencies to identify and assess sites, plan launch timing, and negotiating use agreements.

Maurice’s expertise spans across a variety policy-areas and initiates. His other projects have included managing a 30-point plan to reduce regulation for small businesses, launching a pilot program to upgrade basement apartments, as well as assessment and turnaround efforts for a variety of mental health-focused programs. He has also held the position of Director of Business Strategy at the NYC Department of Small Business Services.

A native of Los Angeles, Maurice received a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Brandeis University with high honors and Summa Cum Laude, and is a New York City Coro Fellow alumnus.
