As a Planning Associate at Trifiletti Consulting, Perla Solis brings a keen understanding of technical analysis, transportation and land use policy, environmental science, and sustainability—forged through her background in environmental policy analysis and planning. Her planning expertise makes her invaluable on major transit projects, from corridor service evaluations to regional network optimizations to every level of transportation in Los Angeles County.
Prior to joining our team, Perla was Transportation Associate in the Transit Corridors Planning Department for Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), where she supported planning initiatives and major transit projects such as Eastside Phase 2 Technical Study, East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor, City of Champions/Inglewood Feasibility Study, Airport Metro Connector 96th Street Transit Station and South Bay Green Line Extension Study. She began her career as a Transportation Planning Intern with Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD), reviewing how the County designed and delivered service for rural communities.
A native of the Los Angeles area, Perla is bilingual/bicultural Spanish and studied Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning at UC Davis.
