Eddie Guerrero Jr. is a seasoned transportation engineering and project management professional with more than 30 years of experience leading complex mobility, infrastructure, and public works initiatives throughout Southern California. As Chief Transportation Engineer at Trifiletti Consulting, he provides strategic oversight and technical leadership on major transportation, transit, and multimodal improvement projects.
Prior to joining Trifiletti Consulting, Eddie served as a Senior Project Manager at David Evans and Associates, Inc. and spent 29 years with the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), including serving as Senior Transportation Engineer. Throughout his career, he has managed high-profile projects involving traffic engineering, environmental review, transportation planning, active transportation connectivity, transit systems, and neighborhood traffic management.
Eddie has led and supported a wide range of transformative projects, including the Lincoln Bridge Multimodal Improvement Project, the Inglewood Transit Connector, the Inglewood Basketball and Entertainment Center (Intuit Dome), the LAX Airfield & Terminal Modernization Project, and multiple bikeway and neighborhood mobility initiatives across the Los Angeles region. His expertise includes project procurement, interagency coordination, traffic impact analysis, transportation systems management, signal design, grant compliance, and securing state and federal funding support.
Known for his collaborative leadership style and deep technical expertise, Eddie has extensive experience working with local agencies, regional partners, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to deliver innovative and practical transportation solutions. He is a licensed Traffic Engineer in the State of California and holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering/Transportation from California State University, Long Beach.
