Our team worked with former Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, as well as the County’s Community Development Authority (CDA), to revitalize a blighted property left vacant since the 1992 Rodney King civil unrest at the intersection of Vermont and Manchester Avenues .
The project area is a 4.3-acre community development project that includes SEED School of LA, a college-prep boarding school, and the Evermont, a mixed-use co-development by Bridge Housing, Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD), and Primstor Development. The Evermont will feature 180 affordable housing units for seniors and income-restricted families, a 50,000 sqft grocery store-anchored retail space, a 15,000 sqft transit plaza, and a Metro training and innovation center.
Trifiletti Consulting provided strategic land use, environmental clearance, permit expediting, procurement and entitlement services to advance the project and build support ultimately leading to the revitalization of the Vermont/Manchester area.
